Joanne Norville is an avid supporter of environmental and youth-focused initiatives in Saint Lucia. She pursued studies in the sciences and obtained a degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Management, and Entrepreneurship, to help develop her skills. Ms. Norville has worked in the education sector as a lab tech and teacher and supported the Saint Lucia National Trust as a member, volunteer, and employee. She now works in the Department of Sustainable Development as a Science & Technology Officer and is an active member of the Caribbean Youth Environment Network (CYEN). Ms. Norville hopes to promote youth involvement in national matters, particularly those related to the environment and the use of natural resources, as the youth are the ones who will inherit the responsibility for these resources in the future.
